THE ARTIST
|
Vadim Stein is a visual artist, art director and photographer born in the Ukraine in 1967.
From 1985 to 1992 he worked as an actor and light designer at the Theater of Plastic Drama, studying decorative sculpture and graphics. In the early nineties, he began to experiment with photography, and the dancer quickly become his favorite subject. His long-term research into the visual language of dance involves close relationships with many of the important international dance companies and theatres around the world.

His exquisite prints of these "floating graces" are a rendezvous for the soul in which the viewer is an invited traveler on a journey into an original and obsessive appreciation of beauty.
