1919 Sperry Gyro-Compass Repeater Brass Ship Mark XV Mod 0 WW1 Dodge Chrysler Co. This is a very nice piece. It is very heavy. To my knowledge, the plug does not work. I imagine it was to back light the compass. It is patented 1919! This would have been used in a ship during World War I.
