This new petrol tap will fit your Honda XL650V Africa Twin 1988 and 1989

This is a brand new reproduced fuel tap and it has the following settings... ON, OFF, and RESERVE.

Note that our tap has the fuel outlet on the right and a fuel strainer bowl on the bottom, just like the original on the RIGHT HAND SIDE of the bike. 

On this tap the connection to the fuel line is for 6mm internal diameter fuel pipe.

NOTE CAREFULLY... this fuel tap with the right side outlet has a 6mm fuel outlet which is smaller than the original one. If you buy this also buy one of our brass reducers, item number 325097377883 and we will send you a 75mm piece of 6mm fuel pipe to join it up.

It can be also used for the LEFT HAND SIDE of the bike but you will need to be slightly rotated for the fuel pipe to clear the frame OR see our other listing for the left hand side tap with the larger REAR 8mm fuel outlet just like the original. Item number is 326883093982 That tap can be fitted on both sides too.

The casting of our taps is superb and they are all checked for smooth operation before dispatch.

Please take a good look at the pictures of our taps and see if you can find better castings elsewhere!

Don't mess about trying to reseal your old original riveted fuel tap. It's really not worth the effort! 😊

Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of old taps not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps.

These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them!... and binned them!

We recommend carefully inspecting and if needed replacing your 30 plus year old fuel pipe too.

Our taps are supplied with a seal and have an internal syphon pipe which is also a filter.
