The removal tool serves as a means of removing the upper links out of the wheel bearing housing of the front suspension on Passat 97>, Audi A4 and Audi A6 vehicles (vehicles with steel wheel bearing housing only). Removal of the upper clamping bolt and both joint pins can be a major problem if these are heavily rusted. The removal tool features a pressure application device to allow quick and safe removal of the clamping bolt on the links. The tool can be used on both the left and right hand front suspension.
