Have you been on a boat and the guy next to you is catching all the fish because he has the right lure? Having the right stuff with you is very important. Don't go all the way to Alaska and find the lures and things provided are not the best. Spend a little now and you will be much happier later. The main thing is you will catch more fish! You can put this lure in your luggage or mail it ahead to the lodge you will be staying at. Most people will lose several set-ups when fishing rocky bottoms.

Don't be caught out on the water without this lure. You will be the one catching all the big fish. Most all of my big halibut were caught on this jig! Lots of rocks on the bottom so you wont want to take just one. I usually take about 10 with me. I will put them in my carry-on bag or mail them ahead to the lodge I will be fishing. You will save money and have a proven lure to fish with. I like to catch chicken halibut 30-80 pounds, they eat much better, but this lure will catch the real big ones. The head of the lure is painted white with an eye on each side, hook is a 12/0 Mustad hook. Tail colors can be White or Glow. You spend a lot of money getting to the fishing grounds so make sure you have what it takes to get lots of big fish!
