Hillsborough County Fire Rescue Station 26 patch. Located in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, Hillsborough County has 46 stations. Station 26 "Cork Knights" was originally formed in 1971 as a volunteer station. In 2012 all volunteer stations with Hillsborough County were incorporated into career stations. It out the outlying parts of Plant City, north of I4. The station houses an Engine, Rescue, Water Tanker, and Brush Truck. It was the first station to develop an official station logo and have them on its engine. The logo was designed from the T-Rex of Dinosaur World that stands right off I4 and less than a mile from the station and often used as directions to the station. Keel Winery is the station's neighbor and well known in the area which where the barrel concept came from.
