The ABR is a 32k (2 x 16k) RAM Cartridge for the Acorn Electron & Master 128 with a unique Locking System that Write Protects the RAM and Bi- coloured LEDs to show the ‘LOCK’ status

Features:

• Identical to the original (last issue) 1988 ABR – Redesigned and updated by the original designer.
• Allows any on-board ROM images to be changed as and when required.
• Works in the Acorn Electron (with an Acorn/P.R.E.S. Plus 1, Slogger ROMBox 2) or Master 128.
• Supplied in a customised 3D printed cartridge case.
• Contains 32K Low Power RAM - Organised as 2 x 16K banks.
• Replaceable button cell battery.
• Unique Software controlled Write Protection (Always write protected at Power-Up!).
• 2 x bi-coloured LEDs to show the ‘LOCK’ status of each 16K of RAM.
• RED – Locked : GREEN - Unlocked
• Supplied with the original ACP (Advance Computer Products) ABR Utilities (stored in the internal RAM).
• Supplied with a comprehensive User Guide.
• Full one year, return to base, warranty.

Requirements:

• Acorn Electron with either an Acorn/P.R.E.S. Plus 1 or Slogger ROMBox 2.
• Acorn Master 128.
• Storage medium (for the supplied Utilities): Tape, Floppy Disc, Hard Drive or compatible Solid-State Drive.

• SAVEROM
• Allow you to save ROM images or Data (held in sideways Banks) to the current filing system.
• LOADROM
• Allow you to load ROM images or data to the ABR or other sideways banks.
• ZERO
• Clears a 16K ABR sideways RAM bank or other sideways RAM.
• LOCK
•  Write protects a 16K ABR sideways RAM bank.
• UNLOCK
• Makes a 16K ABR sideways RAM bank writable.
• Printer Buffer
• Uses one of the 16K sideways RAM banks as Printer Buffer.
• MakeROM
• A utility to covert a BASIC or Machine Code program into a ROM Filing System compatible image.

Your unit is covered by a 1-year return to base warranty. You can return it within 14 days, from receipt, for any reason whatsoever*. If you wish to return the unit, within the 14-day period, then please contact me first. You will receive a full refund of the original purchase price. NOTE: The cost of returning the item is to be borne the purchaser, however, if it found to be faulty, I will refund any reasonable postage costs.
