This is a stunning vase has a frosted glass flared body with gilt metal bands that are studded with glass jewels in red, blue, and turquoise. There are two ring handles. The base is the same gilt metal with four ball feet. The underside of the vase has an oval gold and yellow label that says, “Made In Germany - U.S. Zone.” The U.S. Zone in occupied Germany lasted from May 1945 to 1949. The vase stands 3 7/8 inches high and is 3 1/4 inches in diameter at the top. One jewel is chipped, otherwise, in vary good condition.
