The real airplane was designed by Jesse Anglin (designer of the Spacewalker homebuilt and the Hipps Kitten). This is an easy scratch build project, and a great flying model. I was so impressed with these plans that I bought a set of plans for the real airplane and built it. (the red and yellow one in the third picture)
