This is a Jeanette glass candy container.  The ear piece is missing, no bottom closure.  I have also included a glass base (military cap - powder, candy or jewelry dish) to make up for the missing items.   The top of the phone behind the speaker is rough glass (it seems to be on all of them listed on Ebay)...wanted to point this out.  Please review pictures prior to purchasing.
