This is a humourous collection of sports stories, written by Bob Broeg (1918-2005)

in collaboration with Bob Burrill.  Broeg is a well-known sportswriter who was selected

as a member of the writer's wing of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

This is a hardback book with dustjacket, in good condition, 

with creases on several pages. The dustjacket is protected 

by a clear plastic cover.

This may be a first edition (I am not certain; the only date listed is 1946, 

and the original price, printed on the dustjacket, is $2.50).
