This is an Antique Victorian - Edwardian Ring with four gorgeous natural round Opals of stunning beauty. The four Opal gems are set with 4 round faceted Rubies!  What a gorgeous and rare combination of gems.   The opals have blue, green and yellow fire.  The jewels are set in a wonderful detailed setting in 10 Karat Rose Gold.  The interior of the band has lovely early engraved initials.

The Victorians used the most wonderful combination of gems to create delicate, lively and romantic jewels and this is one of my favorite antique rings.  The ring is a lovely wedding or engagement ring, a delightful stacking ring or the perfect ring to wear everyday.  The ring dates to the Victorian - Edwardian period, circa 1860-1910.
 
The top of the ring is 6mm North to South and 12mm wide.
The ring is currently a size 7 US (N 1/2 UK) and can be easily resized if desired.  There is evidence of an earlier resizing.
The ring is 10 Karat Gold.
The ring weighs 1.9 grams.

One of the opals has a slightly flatter cut.
