Beautiful Purple Lepidolite Rough Slab!!

Photos taken on plain pure white background to give most accurate colors rendition. Simply match pure white on your monitor to the white backgrounds of my pictures and you will have the most accurate colors possible over the internet.

Many sellers on eBay are either intentionally or unintentionally using all non-white backgrounds to hide the true colors of their items. If there isn't at least ONE photo with a known white area then you can't know for sure what the colors are. For example color shift towards red will make red and orange colors brighter and more intense. While blue shift can make gray look blue in jasper and purple look like violet in agate, sugilite or jade. Blue shift can also cause lapis to appear better than it really is. These differences DO AFFECT value so always ask for at least one photo on a plain white background from your sellers.

Note also that photos taken in sunlight frequently have blue shift which makes colors appear more blue and/or violet.
