Fits Kawasaki models.....

KZ650H,

KZ750H,

KZ750LTD 1980 to 1983

KZ1000 K M P

The original OEM part numbers were 51023-1039 and 51023-1046 which have now been discontinued

This is a brand new reproduced fuel tap and rubber seal to fit the Kawasaki models listed above. These taps have the primer setting so that you can prime the carbs without running the bike.

Note that our tap has the fuel outlet on the right hand side as well as a vacuum pipe on the rear left hand side.

Don't mess about trying to reseal your 35 year old original fuel tap. We've tried all that and it just doesn't last. They generally leak through the front or stop flowing fuel or just flow continuously.

The Kawasaki seal kits are an expensive gamble too because the inside of the tap will require a day of ultrasonic cleaning to get the hardened gunge and crystals out before you can even think about fitting the new seals!

Our taps are as good as you are going to buy, I've searched high and low for a long time for taps for these bikes that are just right and these are the best!

We check and fettle each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and tightness of the tap. You will not find a better tap than these!

To date, we have had no returns or issues with my supplier and manufacturer.

Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of the tap not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps.

These taps also have a prime setting. This can be used to fill the carburettors if the bike has been laid up for a while. It allows fuel to flow continuously and should not be used instead of the vacuum function.

These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them!

Mounting Hole diameter is 6.5mm for your 6mm bolts

Connection to fuel line: 8 mm internal diameter pipe

(we sell E5 and E10 resistant heavy wall thickness petrol pipe seperately)

Vacuum connection: 5 mm internal diameter pipe.

My taps have the internal syphon pipe which is also a filter.

We wouldn't recommend relying on that as you don't want to be removing this tap once it's fitted and sealed so I would recommend that you fit an inline filter too.

We sell spare tank seals should you ever need to remove this tap for painting or washing out.

Dispatched with 2nd Class parcel postage.

1st class postage is £2 extra.
