For sale is a Calix GigaCenter 844E-1. This is a managed commercial gateway wireless router and is intended to be use in a Calix Managed Device network. These require a 12v 2.5A powersupply(I have 12V 2A Power supplies available for these units for free upon request, however if you use a 2A instead of a 2.5A powersupply you cannot use the USB port without risking overloading). These units have been factory reset. The unit is Dualband Wireless AC. Has telephone, wan, and 4 Lan jacks. Some units may have previous carrier branding on them. Some units may be missing the small default settings sticker but all have the large sticker on the base. Some units may be missing the small plastic cover near the base. ALL THESE UNITS HAVE BEEN TESTED PRIOR TO SHIPMENT.

B grade units are cosmetically better, including their respective stands, but still are not perfect condition

C grade units have cosmetic flaws that are very noticeable exceeding what most consider acceptable damage. However if you do not care about cosmetic damages and just want a fully functional unit, the C grade units fill this gap.

This device MAY still have a PPPoE configuration baked into the firmware, you may need a calix portal account to override this. a PPPoE Configuration will prevent you from using this as a normal router. If you are an end user buying this router I can provide a modded config file that will disable the PPPoE configuration and enable using the router as a normal router. However the hacked config file will change the wifi name and password,(Not the router login) and it will also NOT persist a factory reset(factory resetting will clear the modded configuration)

If you are a regular home user wanting to use this as your home router it will work, please message ahead of time and I will try and get you a unit that does NOT have a PPPoE configuration.

I do NOT accept returns because you do not understand what you are buying, so please read everything above before purchase.

This is a VERY Dusty area, the units may have dust on them but all units have been wiped down and attempted to be reasonably cleaned. Pictures can be provided upon request.
