Beautiful antique metric laboratory/apothecary weight set. Metal label states "Fisher Scientific Co., Pittsburgh, USA". Edge stamped "Chicago Apparatus Co. and Made in Germany". Birch box contains 6 solid brass weights and 5 metric fractionals. Box measures 3 3/84" long x 1 5/8" deep x 1 1/4" tall. Brass weights are all marked and consist of 1 x 20 gram, 2 x 10 gram, 1 x 5 gram, and 2 x 2 gram. The 1 gram weight is missing. Hardware is original and in good working order. Great for a collection or to use. Box was cleaned and refinished with MinWax Satin varnish and hand polished to a soft luster with 0000 steel wool and paste wax.
