This will fit your Yamaha XJR1300 which needs a deep tap to clear the edge of the petrol tank.

This is a brand new reproduced fuel tap and it has the following settings... ON, OFF, RESERVE.

Note that this tap has the fuel outlet on the right hand side.

The casting of our taps is superb and they are all checked for smooth operation before dispatch.

This tap comes without the vacuum connection and so if you currently have a vacuum operated tap that tube should be sealed off with a small bolt and clip.

Please take a good look at all of the pictures of our taps and see if you can find better castings elsewhere!

Don't mess about trying to reseal your old original fuel tap. We've tried all that and it just doesn't last. They generally leak through the front or the vacuum side goes wrong and either stops fuel from flowing through the tap or it constantly supplies fuel which floods carburettors and fills crankcases up with petrol. The cost of the new oil and filter is more than the cost of our tap!

Replacement seal kits are expensive too.

Apart from that it's not worth wasting time even trying to fix them when you can buy something like this from us!

OK so this tap not original Yamaha but it is a much cheaper alternative than trying to get an original one.

Our taps are as good as you are going to buy, we've searched high and low for a long time for taps for these bikes plus other classic bikes that are just right and these are the best!

We check each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and tightness of the tap.

To date, we have had no returns or issues with our supplier and manufacturer.

Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of old taps not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps.

Technical specifications:

These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them!... and binned them!

Hole diameter is 6.5mm for your 6mm bolts

Connection to fuel line: 6 to 7mm internal diameter pipe.

(7mm must be clipped)

NOTE THAT THIS IS SMALLER THAN THE PIPE CURRENTLY ON YOUR BIKE but we also stock brass reducers so that you can retain your old fuel pipe should you wish to. Measure your requirements, we can send you a reducer with a short length of 6mm pipe to connect up to the tap if you ask.

If you have 10mm internal fuel pipe then use item number 325843947620 in our shop.

If you buy this at the same time as your tap then we can also send you a small 75mm piece of 6mm internal diameter fuel pipe for free to connect between the tap and the brass reducer. See our pictures of these parts fitted 😊

We recommend that you thoroughly check or renew your fuel pipe and we also sell very good quality green tinted heavy wall thickness and E5 and E10 compliant fuel pipe too
