Following the executive orders signed by the President of the United States, items originating from Korea, valued up to US$800 will no longer enjoy duty-free.
To ensure a smooth shopping experience for buyers and maintain sellers' logistics performance, eBay is updating its shipping requirements. From the effective date of 17th October 2025, sellers shall need to use Delivered Duty Paid (“DDP”) logistics services for customs clearance for all shipments located in Korea being shipped to the United States, with a unit price of less than US$2,500.
The shipping costs have increased due to DDP, but this amount includes duties and taxes.
