around the world. Unless the item states that it is new, NOS condition in packaging items in non or un-issued condition can be 50 years
old or more. They will not show wear or signs of use but they have been
stored for years and shipped around the world so they will show signs of
storage and may have that military surplus smell.

This is a Romanian Military vintage 2 piece aluminum mess kit in good to very good used condition. These will show some scratches and scuffs from being in long term storage. Will show normal signs of use and wear. All in perfectly usable condition.
The set features the aluminum cooking pot with a steel carry handle, and the detachable dish/bowl and it all nestles together in a compact bundle secured with a steel handle attached to the dish/bowl that also serves as a carry handle for the dish when carrying a hot meal. The pot is app. 5 1/2" x 6" by 3 1/4" and the dish is app. 6 1/2" x 3 5/8" by 1 5/8".
These are perfect
for camping, hiking, backpacking, and hunting and fishing trips. It weighs under one pound.
