1. Description

Certikin CUV Systems ensure that your swimming pool water will have amazing clarity by killing the single cell algae that causes green water.

All of the CUV units use the latest design technology to ensure that the water will flow effectively within the unit, allowing the ultraviolet light to destroy the algae as it passes through.

Not only does the CUV look very stylish, making it a fantastic edition to any pool, but it has been designed with a fully UV stabilised, tough outer casing. This means that the CUV can withstand upto 4 Bar pressure.

The CUV has a low energy, electronic ballast that is positioned in a fully water tight compartment, fused with thermal overload protection. Each CUV is built with both safety and low running costs in mind.

All units are supplied with 1.5″ male threaded connections.

Every CUV is simple to install, and are supplied with pre-fitted stainless steel mounting brackets that allow you to fix the unit horizontally or vertically.

New for 2020 models – the wall bracket is now included in the price.

Certikin CUV Systems are simple to install. All units have a female 1.5″ thread connection and come with 1.5″ male threaded hose tail and stainless steel brackets to allow the unit to be fitted vertically or horizontally. Comes with a 2 year warranty

Replacement Lamps – The approximate lifespan of a Certikin UV bulb is 9000 hours (Approximately 1 year). The bulb should be replaced after this running time.

3. What size UV lamp do I require for my pool?

• 15W – Up to 15,000 litre pool/ Max flow rate of 7.5m3/hr
• 25W – Up to 25,000 litre pool/ Max flow rate 10 m3/hr
• 30W – Up to 30,000 litre pool/Max flow rate 15 m3/hr
• 55W – Up to 55,000 litre pool/Max flow rate 20 m3/hr
• 75W – Up to 75,000 litre pool/Max flow rate 20 m3/hr
• 110W – Up to 110,000 litre pool/Max flow rate 35 m3/hr
• 220W – Up to … litre pool/Max flow rate … m3/hr

When installing UV system flow direct can be either way. Make enough room is left to slide out bulb when replacing.

NB. It is recommended that you use a UV Strainer with any UV System.

4. Installation

Installation is straightforward. We can provide advice on installing your UV system. We can also offer an installation service if required.

We recommend that a strainer is installed when installing the UV.

This should be installed downstream of the lamp as a safety feature in the un-likely event that the lamp breaks the filter stops the glass ending up in the pool.

This is an optional extra.
