Here at MadMopeds we are enthusiastic about 2 strokes and solving engineering problems. We specialise and sell fuel taps and probably have the biggest selection in the UK.

We have sold many hundreds of these taps to GT380, GT550 and GT750 triple owners now without problems.

The casting of our taps is superb, the front plate has been made to look exactly like the original.

Nobody else is selling exactly the same tap as this in the UK!

*** WE TEST EVERY TAP BEFORE SENDING IT TO YOU ***

Compare the flat face that bolts onto the tank in our images with others and see the MadMopeds difference!

We're a genuine UK seller with UK stock! Check out our fantastic feedback on these taps!

We can get this to you usually within about 4 days as we post daily. Pay £2 extra for 1st class postage if needed faster.

For models with only 1 fuel outlet, you can use this tap and won't need the petrol Splitter. Message us and we will send your tap out using 1st class but WITHOUT the brass splitter

This kit has been put together and is the correct vacuum tap for the models listed and includes the correct flat sided rubber sealing gasket.

The original Suzuki part number was 44300-33600 although you may find other numbers

If your J OR K Model bike existing tap has 3 outlets plus a vacuum tube and the number on your early 550 tap for example is

- - - 31050 then this kit will solve your problem.

Please note that this kit will replace the early 1973 and 1974 GT 380, 550 and 750 which has a different tap with 3 fuel outlets.

These taps have the primer setting so that you can prime the carbs without running the bike. It has the fuel outlet on the right and the vacuum pipe on the rear instead of the bottom.

Don't mess about trying to reseal your 50 year old original fuel tap. We've tried all that and it just doesn't last. They generally leak through the front or flow fuel continuously filling your crankcase up with petrol. This can lead to hydrolocking and a very costly rebuild!

Several of our customers have had this happen!

The original seals for your tap are nearly impossible to buy now, hard to find the correct parts and purist restorers are fitting Chinese seals in old corroded but cleaned taps. 😁

If you are a purist through and through then have a go at restoring yours but you'll need an ultrasonic bath plus about 8 hours cleaning to get the gunge out. Then see if you can source the seals and give it a go!

The vacuum diaphragm seal is impossible to find 😁

OK so let's be honest, this tap is not original Suzuki but it is a much cheaper alternative than trying to get an original one. Remember that new old stock at £150 to £250 if you can even find one could actually be over 40 years old now! Even restoring your old one will be costly and risky and diaphragms are not available any longer.

Our taps really are as good as you are going to buy, I've searched high and low for a long time for taps for these bikes that are just right and these are the very best!

We check each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and tightness of the tap.

To date, I have had no returns or issues with my supplier and manufacturer.

These taps look similar to the originals only an anorak at a concourse would spot the difference...🙄 Actually I'm not sure that they would actually spot this apart from the 3 pipes.!

Technical specifications:

These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them!

We check every tap before dispatch for operation and include additional helpful notes to help you fit this properly.

We have only 1 fuel connection on the right or rear of the fuel tap once fitted. You have 3 outlets on your original one and you can use this tap with a 4 way brass fuel splitter that will be supplied with this tap.

* Mounting Hole spacing is 43 / 44mm

* Hole diameter is 6.5mm for your 6mm bolts

* Connection to fuel line: 8 mm internal diameter fuel pipe

* Vacuum connection: 5 mm internal diameter pipe.

*  1 x Brass petrol quality and E5 and E10 ethanol resistant barbed 4 way Splitter 6.3 mm outside diameter for your 6mm inside diameter fuel pipe. We will include a short 75mm / 3 inch piece of flexible fuel pipe for between the tap and splitter

Our taps don't have a filter bowl on the bottom but the internal syphon pipe is also a filter. We recommend that you fit an inline filter too.

Some customers fit the splitter near the tap and others have fitted an inline filter near the petrol tap and fitted the brass splitter nearer the carburettors. You decide but both work well.

Run the vacuum pipe from your centre carburettor as Suzuki recommended. We also sell vacuum pipe if needed

Please compare yours with our pictures. Several people are selling taps for your 380 or 550 or 750 but they have 34mm mounting hole spacing!

Some others won't fit in the slot in your tank.

I can tell you now that you will be very disappointed and they obviously haven't ever seen or measured the real thing!

Ours are the only taps I know of that will fit straight into your tank, believe me I've seen and tried a few and there are some other nuances between the syphon tubes and hole spacings and diameters etc. that need to be considered.
