Don't mess about trying to reseal your 50 year old original fuel tap. We have tried all that and it just doesn't last. They generally leak through the front or just flow and drip continuously and are corroded inside anyway. Also the seal kits are expensive too.

OK so this tap not original Suzuki but it is a much cheaper alternative than trying to get an original one. Remember that new old stock could actually be over 40 years old now!

There are purists spending 8 to 10 hours refurbishing 45 year old taps using old non ethanol compatible seals and selling them for ££££. That doesn't make sense to us but each to their own!

We check each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and tightness of the tap.

To date, we have had no returns or issues with our supplier and manufacturer. Nobody who has bought these from us has had a problem. Not one leaker!

Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of the vacuum not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps that fill your crankcase with petrol

Technical specifications:

These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. I've bought them!

Please check your old tap carefully you should have 2 fuel outlets plus one vacuum tube on the left side If you have 2 fuel outlets then you can use this tap 

* For 44mm Mounting Hole spacing tanks

* Connection to fuel line: 6 mm internal diameter fuel pipe required. NOTE This is smaller than the original pipe so you will need to renew your fuel pipe for 6mm internal diameter ethanol compatible or fit 8mm to 6mm reducers which we can supply separately

* Vacuum connection: NONE so your existing vacuum pipe should be blanked off with a small bolt and clip

* 2 Fibre washers for your 6mm bolts

Spare in tank filters are available from us too.

Our taps don't have a filter bowl on the bottom but there is an internal mesh filter within the bottom of the tap plus the tank internal syphon pipes also have top filters.

There is also a drain screw and sealing washer on the front which can be used to regularly drain the tap and remove any dirt as part of your servicing and maintenance regime 😁

We recommend that you drain down the tank and tap annually, clean the internal filter and fit inline fuel filters too.
