This will fit your classic Honda XL650V 1976 if you have a 16mm thread on your petrol tank.
PLEASE CHECK THIS BECAUSE SOME HAVE LARGER TAPS WHICH WE ALSO SELL
If you have a vacuum operated tap you will have to remove and plug your vacuum tube but other than that its a great solution.
If you require a new brass petrol splitter T or Y piece to supply both carburettors then let us know because we supply those separately

Please be careful before you buy as there are different threads on some bikes.
This is a brand new reproduced fuel tap and it has the following settings... ON, OFF, RESERVE.
Note that our tap has the fuel outlet on the right and a fuel strainer bowl on the bottom. The bowl is made from metal and not plastic like some others are.
The casting of our taps is superb and they are all checked for smooth operation before dispatch.
Please take a good look at the pictures of our taps and see if you can find better castings elsewhere!
Don't mess about trying to reseal your old original fuel tap. I've tried all that and it just doesn't last. They generally leak through the front. Also the seal kits are expensive too.
Apart from that it's not worth wasting time even trying to fix them when you can buy something like this from us!
OK so this tap not original Honda but it is a much cheaper alternative than trying to get an original one. These are as good or better than the originals as ours can be serviced as they are not solid riveted.
Our taps are as good as you are going to buy, I've searched high and low for a long time for taps for these bikes that are just right and these are the best!
We check each tap before dispatch for any casting errors and tightness of the tap.
To date, we have had no returns or issues with my supplier and manufacturer.
Fitting this will eradicate all the usual problems of old taps not working and fuel not flowing or leaking taps.
Technical specifications:
These taps are very well made with very good casting material and tolerances, they are not made from 'monkey metal' like lots of other cheap taps are. We have bought them!... and binned them!
Also they are not within the nearest 1cm etc that you may find non UK suppliers quoting!
This will be a direct fit on your bike if your thread on the fuel tank measures 16mm.
Connection to fuel line: 6mm internal diameter fuel pipe. We recommend that you renew your fuel pipe for E5 and E10 compliant and fit an inline fuel filter too.
Main thread size is 16mm and measure this across the tank stub thread and not inside the old tap please 😊

We sell good quality 6mm internal diameter E5 and E10 compliant fuel pipe and inline filters too if you need them
Our taps are supplied with a seal and have an internal syphon pipe which is also a filter.
We recommend that you fit an inline filter too. We stock those if needed
