Alexandre Denonne is a Belgian artist born in St.Joost-Ten-Node in 1879 and died in St.Gillis in 1953.

Painter of mainly animated cityscapes and parks.

Comes from the Lagye family with a long artistic tradition.

Student of C. Montald at the academy of Brussels.

Around 1930, a new period in his career began with a clear impressionistic paint style.

His work can be found in the museums of Antwerp, Tournai, Elsene, and Riga.
