MAYNADIER
A rare French 1930 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze by Maynadier.
The Paris France based company of Pierre Maynadier designed and produced lamps in art déco style. He mainly used glasses by Muller freres and Schneider for his creations in bronze and sometimes wrought iron. The shades that are signed P.Maynadier were produced exclusively for Maynadier by Muller Freres in Luneville.
The nice and well-made original Maynadier fixture holds a thick shade made in clear frosted molded pressed glass. It is signed P.Maynadier France on the rim. The pendant has a total height of 53 cm (20-7/8") and a diameter of 40 cm (15-3/4"). It is in excellent condition. I have re-nickeled the mounting. And it comes newly wired. It holds an American standard socket. For European countries I will place a E27 one.
