Airplants are easy to keep species that do not require soil to grow. They are also known as Tillandsias, or Tillys and there are many varieties within the range. They come in all shapes and sizes and by adding differing species to your collection you can create a unique and varied feature for your home.
Airplants grow without soil, making them incredibly easy to keep, they require spraying with water (preferably rainwater) every day or two, and a fertiliser on a weekly basis, and they will flourish. They can be mounted using specialist glue to wood, rocks and shells or combined with decorative features such as reindeer moss, or spanish moss.
Pack contains Ionantha v Ionantha, Ionantha rubra and Ionantha scaposa species of air plants. All are small form airplants in dense rosettes which grow up to 10cm diameter and 10cm height once mature. Stunning red tips on the rubra and scaposa species when mature, with the latter having deep purple flowers once mature. A unique collection with contrasts in amazing colours.

The plant you receive will develop, flower and pup assuming correct care and attention. To achieve maximum redness in red species tillandsia, the plants need to be grown in high humidity. Plants shipped may be green in colour, but will develop in correct conditions. plants will be approx 5cm in height/diameter.
