This math, write-on/wipe-off activity set focuses on 3-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping.  It is extra fun, as it has a Dr. Seuss theme!  This set is brand new and in excellent condition!  I laminated the pages, so the set could be used with a fine-tip dry erase marker and then wiped clean with a tissue or cloth, so it could be reused.  This set is from a smoke free home.

I received this set at a Title I workshop for teachers when I was teaching summer school.  One of the pages was simply black and white, so I colored in both the title and the images to make it more appealing to children.  This set consists of 5 pages (4 addition and 1 combination of addition and subtraction) that measure 8.5" x 11".

Four of the pages each have 4 vertical addition problems on them, with boxes underneath to record answers.  They are illustrated with colorful Dr. Seuss images of clouds, clocks, flowers, the Cat in the Hat's red and white striped hat, eggs (from "Green Eggs and Ham"), balls (like the one the Cat in the Hat did his balancing act on), and Truffula trees (from "The Lorax").  On either the left or right side is a red and white dashed border.

The other page is titled "Dr. Seuss Adding and Subtracting with Regrouping", with "Dr. Seuss" in red and turquoise letters.  This page is illustrated with 2 Truffula trees in the bottom, left-hand corner.  The sheet has a place for children to print their name and date at the top and is divided into 2 parts.  The upper half has a mixture of 12 vertical addition and subtraction problems.  Each answer has a capital letter next to it.  After solving the sums and differences, children move on to the second part of the page, which is titled "Hidden Message.  Here, there are answers with lines up above them.  Children simply fill in the letter, that corresponds to each number, in order to decode the secret message.

This set would make a wonderful addition to a 2nd or 3rd grade classroom to be used during Math Centers!  It would also be great to have in a household with children of that age!  I am hoping to find this set a good home.
