Hot Classics have a stronger midrange, thicker bass response and a raunchy upper register. The Alnico III magnets offer great note separation, even for chord work using boost and overdrive pedals. The neck pickup features a Nickel-silver cover for incredible tonal transparency (no more muddy sounds) whilst the bridge pickup mimics some of the best hot Broadcaster pickups of yesteryear. These have been our best-selling pickup sets over the last few years, and now power thousands of TL around the world. A grounded full size copper plated baseplate and black string wrap adds to the tone and completes the look and feel.

**TL 1964 Vintage Pickups — Timeless Tone, Crafted with Precision**

**1. Faithful Reissue of a Classic Design**

The TL 1964 Vintage Pickups are meticulously crafted to replicate the legendary single-coil tone of 1960s Telecaster guitars. From construction to sonic character, every detail honors the golden era of electric guitar, breathing vintage soul into your instrument.

**2. Tone Profile: Warmth Meets Cutting Clarity**

- **Neck Pickup (7.4kΩ)**:

Designed with moderate output and **Alnico 3 magnets**, it delivers warm, rounded mids and smooth highs—ideal for soulful blues licks, jazzy chord textures, and expressive lead melodies.

 - **Bridge Pickup (9.4kΩ)**:

Higher resistance (9.4kΩ) delivers punchier output, paired with Tele’s iconic “steely” treble edge. This pickup cuts through mixes effortlessly, perfect for country twang, classic rock grit, and modern alternative tones.

**3. Precision Craftsmanship: Details Define Excellence**

- **Alnico 3 Magnets**:

Compared to Alnico 5, Alnico 3 offers gentler magnetism, richer midrange, and smoother highs, capturing the iconic “fat and sweet” tonal character of 1960s pickups.

- **Vacuum Wax-Potting**:

Coils are vacuum-sealed with wax to eliminate microphonic noise and enhance interference resistance. Enjoy pristine, stable tone even at high gain—perfect for live stages and studio sessions.

- **Fiber Bobbins**:

Traditional fiber (paper) bobbins replace plastic, replicating the resonance of vintage components. This ensures natural dynamic response, enhanced airiness, and improved coil durability.

**4. Versatile for Genres & Scenarios**

- **Genres**: Blues, classic rock, country, alternative rock, indie.

- **Scenarios**: Studio recording for nuanced tone, live performances requiring noise-free reliability, or upgrading modern Teles with vintage authenticity.

**5. Bridge Magnet Pole Options: Fine-Tune Your Sound**

- **Flat Pole**:

Faithfully replicates 1960s design—softened highs, dense mids, and vintage “woody resonance” for purists and studio perfectionists.

- **Staggered Pole**:

Modern-optimized with enhanced treble clarity and dynamic balance. Reduces volume gaps between strings, ideal for fast picking and complex chords.
