Moonlight Nasturtiums are a climbing & trailing variety with vines growing 6 to 9 feet that
are covered in the most beautiful butter yellow to creamy white flowers.
Lovely on walls, up a trellis or crawling across a borders edge, these are stunning wherever they are
grown.
Like all Nasturtiums, Moonlight is edible with a peppery flavour.
In WW11 these delightful flowers were often substituted for pepper in recipes.
Soak the seeds overnight and they do best when planted direct or in degradable pots.
Can be started indoors but needs care in transplanting.
Germination 10 to 14 days
Sow 1/2 inch deep in a area that gets at least 6 hours of direct sun each day.
Plant out after risk of frost has passed.
Can be grown in a sunny window inside year round with the height of only 9 to 12 inches tall
to provide year round colour & flavouring to your salads, sandwiches & favourite dishes.
