We are offering for sale a Vintage Marble Chess Set which was hand carved in Mexico. This set includes the Board and 32 pieces.  All pieces are created from genuine marble, including the board itself, in white, brown and black trim.  Carved in Mexico, late 1960's in the Aztec Tiki Style.  The measurements are as follows:  Board is 11 1/2" square.  Pieces range from the Kings at 2" each ... down to the Pawns at 1" each.  THIS SET IS VERY HEAVY, AND WEIGHS OVER 12 POUNDS (12lbs, 3ozs)!  This board and pieces are in VERY GOOD CONDITION, with the only notable damage being to the very bottom corner of the White King that has a small chip and the ear of the White Knight which is also chipped ...  (***Note: the WHITE QUEEN is NOT a matching piece to this set , although can certainly be used to play effectively, and is matching in color and style, but is slightly taller than the piece that was originally made for this set ... please see pictures).   Please Email with any questions prior to bidding.  We are always happy to combine Shipping on Multiple Purchases.  Inventory # 012221011 (020221)
