This watch is made from wood. Almost all of it. In addition to wristband and case, even the dial face is crafted out of wood. Any markings are engraved and not painted or affixed. The upshot of all of this is that this watch’s natural and unique wood grain also appears where you look the most: in the centre.

The Opis UR-M3 is available in various styles, some making use of the same kind of hardwood throughout, some offsetting the dial face with a different wood-type. You are also presented with a selection of two geometrical engraving patterns to indicate the hour positions. There is no distracting writing and the patterns themselves are engraved into the natural wood. In this way, the watch manages to concentrate the eye on the unique beauty of its natural materials.

The natural wood used for both casing and wrist bands is not treated in any way, except for a protective coat of oil. This is enough to make your hand-crafted watch durable for daily use.
