This handy, pocket size book (4"x 6" x1") was indispensable in its day and still useful today for editors, poets, students of the English language, and any writer needing  quick reference to how and where words are divided and pronounced as well as a quick punctuation guide. The pages of the book are yellowed but still quite legible. Binding is tight.  No marks {comma} highlighting {comma} or damage other than moderate wear to the edges and spine of the hardcover (see picture 2). Study pictures carefully; they accurately depict the actual book you will receive.

The ISBN on the back of the book (see photo 3) is one digit different than the ISBN which comes up in the eBay book catalog. Descriptions and appearance of the two, however, appear identical.
