1 With the Mini in the “locked” position (locking bar exposed); position it on the mounting surface as close as possible to the edge of the paper tray. Once a suitable location has been determined, use a pencil and mark the location of the lock. Use the green scouring pad provided in the kit and work in a circular motion to lightly scuff the surface of the printer where the Mini will be located. Scuffing the printer will allow a stronger bond to be created between the Mini and the printer.

2 Clean the black rubber pads on the Mini as well as the mounting location on the printer with the provided alcohol wipes. Be sure to thoroughly clean all surfaces and allow them to fully dry before proceeding.

3 Apply 4 to 5 drops of the provided cyanoacrylate glue to each black rubber pad on the Mini.  Carefully position the Mini on the printer within the pencil marks previously drawn and apply steady, firm pressure for 120 seconds.

4 After applying pressure for 120 seconds, unlock the Mini and allow the lock to cure for 24 hours.  In order to achieve maximum strength it is important that no one touch the lock during the curing time.
