This is a fantastic USAF Air Force Colonel's uniform, cap, shirt, tie and pants grouping attributed to Colonel William Morlang of the USAF Dental Corps. Colonel Morlang lead a distinguished 30-year career in the Air Force, beginning with Vietnam in 1966 up until his retirement in 1996. in the U.S. Air Force from 1966 to 1996, retiring in the rank of Colonel. He earned numerous decorations to include the Legion of Merit with three devices, the Bronze Star Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal with one device. Dr. Morlang was a pioneer in the field of forensic odontology, serving as President of the American Society of Forensic Odontology and working on some of the United States' worst mass disasters and international aviation accidents. He served as a forensic consultant to the Armed Forces Medical Examiner, the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, and the Air Force Office of Special Investigation. He published extensively in the forensic odontology field and taught at Tufts University, Wright State University, and Wilford Hall Medical Center. This is an excellent and complete grouping.
