Here we are offering a rare, original Cuban propaganda poster with a photograph of the late Cuban revolutionary leader FIDEL CASTRO (1926-2016).
This authentic Cuban poster on heavy glossy paper – with a facsimile of Castro’s signature at the bottom – was designed in 2009 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Castro-led Cuban revolution. The Cuban government has produced relatively few propaganda posters with Castro's image. This offset poster was designed, printed and distributed by the Havana-based Organization of Solidarity of the People of Asia, Africa& Latin America (OSPAAAL).
The poster measures approximately 26 x 19 inches.
We expect this poster will be even more collectible in the aftermath of Fidel Castro's death in Havana on Nov. 25, 2016 at the age of 90.
