Betsy Ross Porcelain Head and Face Doll
My adventurous Grandma amassed over 64 dolls from around the
world for me growing up in the 60-70's. She felt I needed an American
representation and Betsy Ross was it.

This doll is a combination of materials.  She appears to have a Shackman
porcelain head/face and shoulders (I'm not 100% sure), but this appears to be attached to another
torso/body material.  There is not a Shackman sticker on her back. Her body is an unknown
porcelain? plastic? wood?  Her arms are attached with an elastic cord thru the shoulders
and are made of....porcelain? plastic? It looks like her right thumb might be missing as well.
Her legs feel like wood...but I'm not sure.  She stands on her own, but has a slight list to the right.
Her face is clean, but her white shawl and apron are slightly yellowed and the flag has a curl.
Her blue skirt and red top are made of a stiff velvet? material.   She stands about 12 inches tall
