Fresh Seeds of Eucalyptus pulverulenta 'Baby Blue' (Dwarf Florist Silver Dollar) with full instructions for germination.
We're very excited to now have on offer the seeds of the florist's favourite, Eucalyptus 'Baby Blue', which is an especially rare variety to acquire from pure seed!
Being a naturally dwarf variety of Eucalyptus, it will rarely exceed more then 3 metres in height — and since it responds very well to being clipped, it can be kept even smaller, whether being grown as a frost-hardy garden specimen tree, or within a pot indoors.
Its highly ornamental, beautifully menthol-scented, foliage consistently keeps it within the top few florist / floral art designer greenery plants in the world. Leaves start an intense silvery-blue, turning rounded and glaucous blue.
Beautiful blue young bark turns a smooth silvery-grey, often with olive, gold and russet tones. Its summer flowers are extremely attractive to honey bees.
