- Front zipper closure with storm flap, knit waistband and cuffs, and signature zippered utility/pencil pocket. It has a fully lined, double-stitched front cargo pockets with hook and loop closure and a valley apparel removable logo patch with double pull tab on heavy duty zipper
- Made for use in cold weather climates (20 degrees F and above).
This flight jacket offers a minimalist design while retaining convenience and warmth from the cold. Featuring the tailored cut of a 45-P air-force CWU (cold weather uniform), the jacket jacket features ribbed cuffs and waistband, a heavy duty zipper fly with a storm flap, a sleeve pen pocket, and 2 front pockets.
The air force CWU 45/P flight jacket is a modern version of the original MA-1 bomber jacket. The 45/P was worn by US Air Force pilots in 1950s. The jacket shelters from the cold and rain with military grade fabric, just as it protected pilots in flight in the most precarious of weather conditions. It is the classic look for aviators, and fashion icons.
