This flip chart consists of 16 pages that measure 8.5" x 11".  It focuses on the math skill of counting by 10's, 5's, and 2's.  I made this item by using the image of the set of standing children and putting numbers on the squares they were holding.  I then printed the pages on card stock, laminated them, cut them out, put on the yellow smiley face stickers on boxes with no numbers in them, punched holes through the top of the pages, and created a flip chart by using orange, plastic "chicken rings".

There are 2 pages that center around counting by 10's, with red numbers that are outlined in black.  There are 4 pages that focus on counting by 5's, with blue and red numbers that are outlined in black.  The numbers ending in "5", I printed in blue.  And, the numbers ending in "0", I printed in red.  This was done to show children the pattern in the numbers (number ending in "5", number ending in "0").  I also kept the numbers ending in "0" the same color as those when counting by 10's, so children could see that they are included when counting by 5's.  The remaining 9 pages are devoted to counting by 2's.  These pages have numbers ending in "2" printed in yellow, numbers ending in "3" printed in green, numbers ending in "6" printed in orange, numbers ending in "8" printed in purple, and to be consistent throughout the chart, numbers ending in "0" printed in red, so children could again see that these numbers were included when counting by 2's.

This educational math flip chart would make a wonderful addition to a kindergarten or 1st grade classroom!  It would also be great to have in a household with young children!  I am hoping to find it a good home.
