Here we have for sale a HIGH QUALITY  stereo stepped attenuator with 23 Steps.

The attenuator is  hand built in GB using Super-Hi-End SEIDEN switches (32013 shielded version) and ultra low noise VISHAY DALE CMF55 1% (or better) metal film resistors.

The attenuator is  wired as SHUNT  type, if you prefer it as  SERIES type, please look at my other listings.

Our attenuators are assembled using silverbase solder and silverplated wiring wherever it is needed.

The superbly engineered  Seiden 2 pole 23-way switch  is ideal for stereo stepped attenuators; the switch  is designed for high-quality sound and high reliability.  The contacts are gold  plated with Ag (silver) base  with  excellent stability of contact resistance and feeling of switching 

The  attenuator is faily compact, the dimensions are:
- diameter = approx 40mm at the shield (the  copper plate that separates the two channels); with the resistors it increases a little, but we try to keep it as compact as possible.
- length  =  approx. 50mm  from the mount to the end (including the two little nuts that keep the switch together).

All our attenuators attenuators have "make-before-break" switch contacts, so as not to create "clicks" or "pops" while changing levels and   the contacts are  enclosed by a transparent cover to keep dust out.

The Vishay Dale CMF55 series is the best resistor at this price point, they are of very high quality and benefit from a virtually zero inductance and have excellent electronic & thermal stability.
