This rare 1920s "Donaldson" cardboard die-cut display easel, measuring 11" x 9 1/4" is in excellent condition with some minimal age related edge wear.  

although the easel is missing its lock tab, it stands perfectly and is in excellent working order.  This very attractive display sign features an image of an opened Donaldson cigar box filled with cigars with embossed gold bands.  On the interior lid is a detailed portrait of Arthur Donaldson, the Swedish American actor, in military uniform, relaxing with a cigar in hand.  Donaldson cigars were manufactured by F. C. Lundquist Company, Chicago, IL.
