This was the first of two Upper Deck Fun Pack sets geared to kids. There are a number of subsets with cartoon images of players and other 'fun' concepts.

Among the subsets are Stars of Tomorrow (SOT) #'s 1-9, Hot Shots (HS) #'s 10-21, Kid Stars (KS) #'s 22-27, UD Heros #'s 28-36, All-Star Advise (ASA) #'s 210-215, All-Star Foldouts (FOLD) #'s 216-220 and Checklists (CL) #'s 221-225. Also randomly numbered Glow Stars (GS). Although numbered in the regular set, the Hot Shots were only issued in retail packs or through a mail-in redemption available in hobby packs.

There were also two insert sets, the fold-out All Stars (9 AS cards) with scratch off lineups and Team Mascots (5 cards) that featured several of the prominent creatures such as the Phillie Phanatic and Fredbird.
