THIS AUCTION IS FOR A MINI PONY STAINLESS STEEL HALF-CHEEK SNAFFLE BIT
A Snaffle bit is the most common type of bit used while riding horses. It consist of a bit mouthpiece with a ring on eigher side and acts with direct pressure, and one such bit that has the "spoons" that extend downward to prevent the bit from pulling thru the horses mouth is the HALF-CHEEK BIT.
The HALF-CHEEK snaffle bits are generally used for driving, although they are occasionally seen on riding horses as well. They are relatively mild and are almost similar to a full cheek snaffle bit, these can prove to be helpful for training young horses to hold a bit.
