Product Description:

This compound microscope is ideal for High School instruction. Cool-to-touch, long-lasting LED Illumination is equipped with intensity control. Ball-bearing objective turret is mounted, allowing for smooth alignment while positive click stops ensure precise magnification.

DIN achromatic objectives are parfocal and parcentered to provide sharp, color-corrected images. Coarse and fine focusing knobs are positioned low on bracket near base, making certain that adjustments are made with maximum stability and minimum strain.

Rugged cast aluminum with gray enamel finish. Packed in a fitted styrofoam box; includes a dust cover and an instruction manual. 5-year limited warranty excluding bulbs.

Warranty Policy

Vision Scientific warrants its microscopes to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of five years starting from the date of purchase.

A record of the original purchase order should be kept on file to verify the purchase and ensure warranty validation. This warranty is non-transferable and is only applicable to the original purchaser named on the original purchase order.

Vision Scientific will, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or adjust the defective instrument provided that an investigation and factory inspection disclose that such defect developed under normal and proper use and that the instrument is covered under this warranty.

This warranty does not cover damage incurred in transit, or resulting from abuse, misuse, negligence or repairs and alterations performed by a non-authorized repair technician, and any other non-conformance to written maintenance instructions.

This warranty excludes electrical problems that arise as a result of bulbs, batteries, or fuses and electrical components which are not determined to be from manufacturing defect. Electrical warranty is valid for 1 year, unless otherwise deemed as a manufacturing defect. After 1 year, authorization will be determined on an individual basis.

Optics and lenses that become inoperable as a result of misuse or due to lack of normal maintenance are not covered under this warranty.

This warranty does not cover repair or replacement where normal use has exhausted the life of the instrument or its parts. All instruments require periodic parts replacement and general service to perform optimally. Deficient instruments will be replaced or repaired at the discretion of Vision Scientific.

Vision Scientific assumes no responsibility or liability of incidental or consequential damages as a result of using our instruments.

Returning under Warranty

In order to return any merchandise under a return authorization, all products must be packaged in their original packaging content, including Styrofoam boxes for both microscopes and balances. Vision Scientific Inc. exercises the right to refuse any return that is damaged due to insufficient packaging. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs and applicable fees and taxes.

Returns Policy

If for any reason you are not fully satisfied with one of our products, Vision Scientific will gladly help you return the item either for refund or exchange within 14 days of the date you received your order.

Our current return policy and practices are in place to make the process simple and to keep the best interests of our customers in mind.

·   Requests for Returns must be made within 7 days after you have received your purchase.

·   A Vision Scientific customer service representative will contact you within 2-4 business days to provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) and additional shipping instructions. This RMA# will only be valid for a period of 7 days after the date it was issued. Print the return label and RMA# and mark it on the packaging prior to shipping. You MUST have a Return Authorization Number in order to return any item. Please keep your original purchase order number nearby – you will need this for your Return Authorization to be processed.

·   Your return item must be mailed out within 14 days after you have received your purchase.

·   Your item must be in NEW and RE-SALEABLE condition in order to be accepted for return.

·   Return items must be shipped in the original packaging in order to receive a full refund less the original shipping and handling cost. The use of other packaging materials may result in a deduction of up to 20% from the refund amount.

·   Missing items or accessories from the return will result in a deduction of 25% or more from the refunded amount.

·   All returned goods will be subject to a 4.8% handling fee which will automatically be deducted from the refund amount.

·   Items that were initially shipped free of charge will have the original shipping amount deducted from the refund if returned.

·   Customs duty, taxes, and applicable handling fees are non-refundable.

·   Returns received without an RMA Number will be returned to sender COD.

Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, document any and all evidence with photos, and note it on the carrier’s delivery documents. Contact the shipping carrier to file a damage claim and request a Damage Claim Number as soon as possible. Have the shipping carrier pick up the item for return to Vision Scientific.

Inform the Vision Scientific customer service department as soon as you receive a file a claim with the carrier and provide us with all information and evidence of damages or defects (photos, delivery documents, damage claim number etc.).Please do not discard packaging or contents, as couriers often want to inspect the damaged merchandise and packaging to assist in the claims process.

Notifications of damaged goods after 14 days of receipt will be considered warranty issues and will be subject to the terms supplied in the individual items warranty information.

Wrong Items

If you have received an item in error that was not part of your original purchase, please contact our Customer Service Department within 14 days of receipt. You may be asked to complete our Return Authorization form and to provide photographic evidence prior to receiving a Return Authorization Number. After confirmation, you will receive a prepaid shipping label to be used for the return. Once we have received the item, the correct item will be immediately shipped to you. In the event you request a refund rather than an item exchange, the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.
