PSI Xtreme HDSS clutches are designed for the individual whose goal is to have an ultimate street/track clutch system. PSI Xtreme clutches only consist of the very best materials available today. The pressure plate is made from the forged ductile iron (3X stronger than the conventional cast iron pressure plate) to ensure consistent clamping force and the extra long life. The steel back friction material is used on all PSI Xtreme HDSS Street clutch kit to have higher burst strength and heat tolerance. The heavy-duty sprung center with heat treated spline hub and retainer rivets provide increase in strengh and reliability. The PSI Xtreme pressure plate features special single diaphragm design to increase clamp load. It features induction hardened diaphragm, CNC machined castings, stronger drive straps and rivets. PSI Xtreme pressure plate provides smooth and precise feel with easy modulation. All PSI pressure plate is load tested on a special testing tool for quality assurance.
