WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE? -This is the ultimate alnico II magnet pickup set! The alncio II magnet has less magnetism than the alncio 5....the result is a warmer tone with more sustain. This set can get you anything from aggressive hard driven over tones to smooth and warm clean tones.
-The SH-11 Custom Custom in the bridge is a high output humbucker....but not too hot. This pickup has a softer low end with a detailed upper mid. It's often compared to the "modern Van Halen Tone."
-The Alnico II Pro neck is perfect for getting vintage tones that are a little warmer and smoother on the top end. Think, Slash's neck pickup Les Paul tone. Full, warm, round, creamy....like the perfect donut.
