With a built-in data logger and TrendCapture technology - an on-screen graphical display - the 287 helps you track down elusive, intermittent problems or monitor equipment. FlukeView Forms software enables you to document, store, and analyze individual readings or a series of measurements; overlay logged data to find cause and effect relationships; or turn your data into meaningful graphs and tables for a professional report. The 287/FVF combo kit gives you a practical and affordable approach to documenting circuit design performance.

TrendCapture Technology

TrendCapture Technologyis a trend plot style graphical representation of a logged session recorded by a meter, which can be displayed right on the meter as soon as the recording session is complete.

Not only can you instantly view recorded results from a logging session (which could be up to 200 hours long), allowing for instant analysis of any unusual events without the need for a pc, but multiple recording sessions can be completed without a computer.

In addition to being able to view trend information right on your screen, a cursor is available to highlight a specific event (including event details); you can also ZOOM in for a closer look at the data.

You can either save any recording session via the generic save button, or "auto" save to the next available empty memory. You can even give the session a specific, pre-selected name (+Name). Once saved, select "Trend" and the graphical trend plot display will be drawn on the screen for a quick visual analysis of the recording session. If there are multiple events displayed in the session, the ZOOM function can be utilized to look at the specific event of interest.

TrendCapture Technology takes logging multimeters to the next level. The power of immediately viewing results of any recording session gives you the ability to instantly analyze your results over time and spot anomalies. This capability improves efficiency, saves time and ultimately saves you and your clients money.

FlukeView Forms Software

FlukeView Forms Software increases the power of your Fluke tool by enabling you to document, store and analyze individual readings or a series of measurements, then convert them into professional looking documents.

Several versions of FlukeView Forms Software are available, depending upon the type of cable necessary, in order to download data from your instrument, and depending upon the data reporting capability you require.

FlukeView Forms Basic (FVF-BASIC): Owners of Fluke 280 series, 180 series, 789 and 1550B who do not need the full power of FlukeView forms, can use FlukeView Basic version. FlukeView Forms Basic can be used alone to download measurement data and create reports that can be saved and printed. Transfer data points from your meter to your PC and use the two standard, non-customizable forms to display your readings in table or graphical form.

FlukeView Forms Upgrade (FVF-UG): You can expand the power of your Fluke Test Tools by upgrading from FlukeView Forms Basic with the FlukeView Forms Software Upgrade. FlukeView Forms plus Designer allows you to edit an existing form, create a new form, or to customize the report to meet individual needs.

With the FlukeView Forms Software Upgrade you can also do the following:

Instantly review and compare data from up to 6 different meters on one same document, providing analysis capabilities that your meter alone cannot provide
