Vintage Georgie Giraffe knitting pattern. (Laminated copy)

 A truly retro knit, this pattern dates back to the 1940's.

'LANKY BUT LOVEABLE'

Easy to knit and embroidered with spots Georgie is very lifelike, with his long neck and lanky legs every child will want to make him an immediate favourite.

He is knitted in stocking stitch sections and the spots are embroidered in satin stitch after he is stuffed.

Georgie was originally knitted in 3 ply wool in beige with brown spots but he would look equally as good in any colour combination and weight of wool  from your stash.
