Vintage Toy pattern, Curly The Puppy knitting pattern. (Vintage Laminated Copy)

 A truly retro knit, this pattern dates back to the 1940's.

Curly the cuddly pup was originally  knitted in 3ply wool on number 12 (2.75mm) needles. 

I have knitted him in double knit wool on 3.75 mm needles and he looks fantastic!

Curly is described as an easily knitted toy that the children will love. He is adorable when knitted with his loop pattern body and garter stitch nose and ears.

He is such fun to knit. I hope you have as much fun knitting him as I did!
