About The Steel Overbox

This Steel Overbox has been designed to fit over an existing damaged meter box where the original is built in or inset into the wall. Typical use cases include electric mater box installations. As replacing your meter box when it becomes badly damaged can be very difficult and costly, our steel overboxes are the ideal DIY solution to protect your damaged meter boxes.

To Cover - 800 x 580 x 100mm

Fitting

Position the overbox to cover the existing meter box and mark the four hole on the brickwork or plaster. 

Drill the brick work or plaster and, using the appropriate raw plugs, screw the overbox onto the wall using the screws provided.

If necessary, apply sealant around the edge of the frame.
